BAYSIDE, QUEENS — City Council members are your most local representative in New York City government, so you want to make sure the person you vote for holds your opinions and values.

But with eight candidates vying for Bayside's District 19 City Council seat it can be hard to keep track of where every candidate stands on the issues you care about — not to mention that this year you get to vote for up to five people with ranked-choice voting.
