Goey Charles was arrested in October after his girlfriend's body was found along the Horace Harding Expressway in Bayside.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A grand jury indicted a Long Island man on a murder charge in the October death of his pregnant girlfriend, whose body was found on the side of the road in Bayside, the Queens District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
Uniondale resident Goey Charles was arrested Oct. 26 after police said surveillance footage caught him pulling 29-year-old Vanessa Pierre's body from the backseat of his car and leaving her on the sidewalk alongside the Horace Harding Expressway.
Several hours later, a passerby found Pierre lying on the ground with a pair of sweatpants wrapped around her neck, according to prosecutors.
