Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade: Start Time, Route

The event is considered the largest in the country.

NEW YORK, NY — The largest Memorial Day parade in the United States honors fallen heroes right here in Queens this holiday.

Founded in 1927, the Little Neck-Douglaston parade's theme this year will be "What so Proudly We Hail." The Queens parade will celebrate the 205th birthday of the "Star Spangled Banner" poem, as well as observe the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Europe.
