Man Stabbed, Slashed In Knife Fight Near Bayside Restaurant: NYPD

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are asking for help identifying a man who attacked another man with a knife outside of a Bayside restaurant.

Early in the morning on Sunday, June 27, around 4:17 a.m., a 27-year-old man was standing outside of Bourbon Street, a restaurant located at 40-12 Bell Boulevard, when another unknown man approached him, said the NYPD.

Police reported that the two men started yelling at each other, and then the fight got physical — the unknown man pulled out a knife, and stabbed and slashed the 27-year-old's body.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for his stab wounds, and has since been released, police said.

Based on nearby surveillance camera footage, police reported that the man with the knife ran away from the restaurant, and then got into an SUV with two other unknown people.

Police described the unknown man as about 5'8" tall with a goatee. At the time of the fight he was wearing blue Nike shorts, a dark colored t-shirt, and grey sneakers.

As of Wednesday July 7 the case remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made, according to the NYPD.
