Moderna Doses Available At Little Neck Pop-Up Site On Wednesday

LITTLE NECK, QUEENS — A limited number of first dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccines will be offered at the Commonpoint Queens Sam Field Center in Little Neck on Wednesday April 21, according to the organization.

The Queens community-based social services organization is offering doses at their Little Neck center at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway on a first-come, first-served basis to those who register online.

According to the registration site, you must be 18 years or older to sign up for a shot, and be able to return 28 days for a second dose. You also have to bring proof of New York State residency, and an ID and insurance card.

As of Tuesday at 4 p.m. there are appointments available from 10:20 a.m. in the morning through 2:50 p.m. in the late afternoon.

This announcement comes after Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that a permanent Moderna vaccination site is slated to open this week at Queensborough Community College in Bayside.
