New Directory Lists Queens Eateries Open Amid Coronavirus Crisis
The Queens Chamber of Commerce's new directory lists restaurants across the borough that are offering delivery and takeout.
QUEENS, NY — A new website by the Queens Chamber of Commerce is keeping track of restaurants across the borough that are offering delivery and takeout, with the goal of supporting local restaurateurs who are trying to keep the lights on during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new directory, QueensBest.org, features neighborhood-specific lists of eateries that are still open in Bayside, Flushing, Jamaica, Jackson Heights, Astoria, Long Island City and Sunnyside.
The Sunnyside BID, the Jamaica Center BID, the Flushing BID, the Bayside BID and the Long Island City Partnership helped the Queens Chamber of Commerce identify restaurants to include.

“Queens has the most vibrant restaurant scene in the world, and we don’t yet know the true extent to which the coronavirus outbreak will impact them," Thomas J. Grech, president and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, said.
"What we do know is that you can continue to support small businesses and enjoy a great meal in the comfort of your home by ordering takeout or delivery," Grech said.

The Queens Chamber also launched a webpage to keep local business owners updated on business-related COVID-19 news and share available resources.
