New Korean Restaurant Opening On Bell Boulevard

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A new Korean restaurant is opening in the business and entertainment stretch of Bayside’s Bell Boulevard, according to a Queens Courier report.
Dorawa, a Korean word meaning “come back,” is a self-described modern Korean kitchen that pays homage to recipes and traditions. The restaurant is located at 38-42 Bell Blvd. near the corner of 39th Avenue, touting “unexpected” culinary flavors and concepts on its website.

Menu items include fried kimchi bulgogi; tacos with grilled chicken, broiled eel or Korean barbecue steak; smoked pork belly and shishito pepper; seafood with dumpling jeongol (hot pot); monkfish liver; soft-shell crab; macaroni and cheese and a number of other dishes.
“We just passed our gas pressure inspection, so we’re trying to open within a couple of weeks,” Dorawa staff told Patch on Monday.
