BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The New York Police Department is getting in the Halloween spirit with a free haunted house in Bayside opening this weekend.

Police are joining forces with the city's parks department to turn Fort Totten into the spookiest spot in northeast Queens every evening from Oct. 26 to Oct. 30.

The haunted house is recommended for kids 12 and up, according to the NYPD.
