Owner Of Trattoria 35 In Bayside Dies Suddenly
Bayside restaurateur Michael Molinari died unexpectedly Monday, according to a news report and the restaurant's social media.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Michael Molinari, the owner of the Italian restaurant Trattoria 35, died suddenly Monday, according to the Queens Chronicle and the restaurant's social media. He was 50.
"Through everything we've been through this year, as a business, as a community, as a family - this hurts the most," the restaurant wrote on Facebook. "Michael was an outstanding member of the community, a father to Little Michael, and the leader of the Trattoria 35 Family."
Molinari opened the restaurant in 2005 and dedicated himself to providing a family atmosphere, the Queens Chronicle reported.

He also owned a smaller version of the eatery, called Cafe 35, in the Bay Club residential community.
Molinari's funeral will be held Friday. Trattoria 35 will be closed that day in his honor.

In lieu of flowers, Molinari’s family asked for donations made in his name to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy in Bayside, according to the Chronicle.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, and his son, Michael Jr.
