Person Trashed, Burglarized Several Businesses In Bayside: Cops
The person, who is still being sought by police, broke into three businesses on Bell Boulevard early in the morning of Monday, May 17.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The police are still looking for a person who they say burglarized and trashed several businesses in Bayside on Bell Boulevard early in the morning of May 17.
The rampage began around 1:13 a.m. on Monday, May 17, when the person forced open the door of Nippon Cha — a Japanese eatery and tea house located at 39-34 Bell Boulevard — and destroyed many items inside the restaurant, according to the NYPD.
Then, at around 1:39 a.m., police say that the person went nearby to 35-15 Bell Boulevard, a market and flower shop called Bayside Milk Farm, where they forced open the front door and stole a cell phone and power tool from inside the shop.

Finally, around 1:50 a.m., the individual broke into Whitestone Plumbing Supply by breaking the glass of the front door and stole eight power tools from the store, which is located at 36-60 Bell Boulevard.
The police did not provide a description of the person who broke into and trashed the businesses, but they did include video footage from a nearby camera.
