Queens Congresswoman Collecting Holiday Cards For Local Veterans
Get out your craft supplies: Congresswoman Grace Meng is collecting holiday cards for veterans living in Queens.

QUEENS, NY — U.S. Rep. Grace Meng's office is collecting holiday cards to give to veterans living in Queens.
Meng, who represents a swath of central and northeast Queens in Congress, will collect cards from members of the public and local elementary school students to deliver to veterans at the VA St. Albans Community Living Center during the upcoming holiday season, according to a press release.
"As we prepare to mark Veterans Day next week, we are again reminded of the sacrifices that our veterans have made to protect and defend our freedom," Meng said in a statement. "Providing these special cards to the brave men and women who served our nation is an outstanding way to recognize their service, and make sure they know that we have not forgotten about them during the holidays."
