Queens House Fire Leaves 1 Dead, Several Hurt: FDNY
An 82-year-old woman was found dead in the kitchen of the burning Bellerose home, authorities said.

BELLEROSE, QUEENS -- An 82-year-old woman is dead and several firefighters are injured after a fire tore through a Queens home Monday evening, authorities said.
Police and firefighters responded to a 911 call of a fire on 252 Street in Bellerose at around 6:30 p.m.
Firefighters found Audrey Hebling unconscious in the kitchen of her home, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

At least seven other firefighters suffered both serious and minor injuries in the blaze, an FDNY spokesperson said.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the fire, but an investigation is ongoing.
