Reminder: Lions Club to Hold Annual Dinner Dance This Weekend
Money raised through the event will go toward the training of a seeing eye dog for a local person in need.

The Little Neck Douglaston Lions Club is holding its 17th annual dinner dance fundraiser on Nov. 24.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. at Leonard’s of Great Neck, located at 555 Northern Blvd.
The dinner, which will include a live auction, costs $80 per person and funds raised through the event will go toward the training of a seeing eye dog for a local person in need.

Earlier this year, the club announced its honorees – Queens Supreme Court Justice Peter O’Donoghue, who is man of the year, The Hair Place owner Christine Kempski, who is Lion of the year, and Bernard Karoff, a local community activist who will received the community service award.
