OAKLAND GARDENS, QUEENS -- A Queens man was arrested after cops found more than 70 guns and 50,000 rounds of ammunition stockpiled in his basement, authorities said Monday.
Ronald Drabman, 60, was arrested on Sunday afternoon after an NYPD investigation that started in Brooklyn ended in the basement of his Oakland Gardens home on 208th Street, police said.
In addition to his cache of weapons - which included 23 handguns and 45 rifles, shotguns and assault rifles - he also more stockpiled more than 100 high-capacity magazines, police said. Drabman has two prior arrests, including one for possessing an illegal .357-caliber handgun in 2017.

The haul recovered by police marked one of the city's largest weapon seizures made under a single search warrant, said NYPD Chief of Intelligence Thomas Gallati.
"Collaboration between the criminal intel section, the members of the 81 Precinct, the Emergency Services, resulted in the seizure of this large cache of weapons," Gallati said at a press conference on Monday.
