Thieves Steal Designer Coats, $4K Cash From Whitestone Home: NYPD

A pair of burglars stole $4,000 cash and a trove of Canada Goose and Moncler coats from a Whitestone home this week, police said.

WHITESTONE, QUEENS — A pair of burglars took $4,000 cash and a trove of Canada Goose and Moncler coats from a Whitestone home this week, according to police.

The men got into the home near Murray Street and 17th Road through an unlocked basement window Tuesday afternoon, the NYPD said in a news release.

Once inside, they grabbed a safe full of thousands of dollars and five designer coats worth an estimated $5,000 altogether, according to police.

The NYPD released surveillance images Thursday of the two suspects, who are still at large.
