Uno Pizzeria On Bell Boulevard Closed By Health Inspectors
The Bayside Uno Pizzeria was closed after the eatery failed a Tuesday inspection. It is unclear whether it has since reopened.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Health inspectors closed Uno Pizzeria on Bell Boulevard after the eatery failed a Tuesday inspection, records show.
The pizzeria received 33 violation points after inspectors from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene found filth flies and evidence of mice during a June 25 inspection.

- Mice or evidence of mice
- Filth flies or food/refuse/sewage-associated flies
- Facility not vermin proof, with conditions conducive to attracting vermin
It is unclear whether Uno, which is located at 39-02 Bell Blvd., has since reopened, because a reporter's calls to the pizzeria did not go through.
Health inspectors close restaurants that get 28 points or above — the lower the score, the better.
