Whitestone resident Margaret M. Costello was chosen to be the Queens County Aide in the 2020 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

WHITESTONE, QUEENS — Whitestone resident Margaret M. Costello has been chosen to represent Queens in the 2020 St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Costello will serve as the Queens County Aide to Grand Marshal James T. Callahan during the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade on Tuesday, March 17, according to the parade's website.
The aide position is largely ceremonial but considered a great honor. Each of the five New York City counties has an aide, as do several neighboring counties and Irish associations.
