Woman Found Dead In Crocheron Park: Police

A 50-year-old woman who'd been reported missing was found unresponsive Friday at the Crocheron Park field house, police said.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A woman who had been reported missing in Bayside was found dead Friday in the Crocheron Park field house, according to the NYPD.

Kyung Park, 50, was found at the park's comfort station at 215th Place and 33th Road about 4 p.m., a police spokesperson told Patch.

She was sitting on the ground with her back against a shipping container and a bag over her head when a bystander found her, police said.

Medics who showed up at the scene pronounced her dead. It's not yet clear how the woman died.

She had been reported missing to the NYPD the day her body was found, according to a police spokesperson.
