1 Hurt In Fire On Bushwick Avenue In Brooklyn: FDNY
A fire in a home on the Bushwick and Bed-Stuy border took more than 100 firefighters and an hour to put out on Wednesday.

BROOKLYN, NY — One person was sent to the hospital after a fire broke out on Bushwick Avenue on Wednesday, according to the FDNY.
The fire erupted in the second and third floor of a home on Bushwick Avenue near Dodworth Street at 1:48 p.m., FDNY officials said.
It escalated to a two-alarm blaze within 20 minutes, according to the department's alerts.

More than 100 firefighters worked on putting out the flames. It was under control about an hour later, at 2:40 p.m.
A firefighter who was hurt was sent to Wyckoff Hospital with minor injuries, FDNY officials said.
