17-Year-Old Punched In The Face In Bed-Stuy Mugging: Cops
The teenager was on the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Bedford Avenue, police said.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for a man who punched a teenager in the face in a mugging in Bed-Stuy last month.
The man came up to the 17-year-old girl on the corner of Lafayette and Bedford avenues just before 3 p.m. on March 22 and demanded her wallet, according to police. He then punched the teenager in the face with a closed fist and took her wallet, police said.
There were two Metrocards, $100 and a school ID in the wallet, police said.

The man fled on foot on Nostrand Avenue after the robbery.
Police said he is approximately 50 years old, 5'10" tall and weighs between 130 and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and dark colored sneakers.
