2 Brooklyn Ferry Stops To Close For Months For Construction
The South Williamsburg and DUMBO ferry stops will be closed eight to ten weeks starting April 5, according to the city.
BROOKLYN, NY — Two Brooklyn ferry stops will be unavailable for more than two months starting in April, the city announced.
Starting April 5, the DUMBO and South Williamsburg ferry landings will be closed for construction that is expected to last between eight and ten weeks.
The South Williamsburg stop will be replaced and upgraded to make it fully compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act and so that two ferries can dock at once, officials said.
