31-Year-Old Shot, Hit Over The Head With Gun In Bed-Stuy: Cops
The shooting happened Monday evening near Lafayette and Reid avenues, police said.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 31-year-old was sent to the hospital after an attack on a Bed-Stuy street Monday evening, according to police.
The 31-year-old man was hit over the head with a gun and shot in the hip and buttocks near Reid and Lafayette avenues just before 5:30 p.m., police said.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital with gunshot wounds and a laceration on his head, police said.

People on the scene told some reporters that the man might've taken the J train all the way to Flushing Avenue station before collapsing from the injuries, though officials told the news outlet the man walked the distance. Police did not immediately respond to questions about where the victim was found.
There were no arrests in the attack as of Tuesday morning.
