52-Year-Old Killed In Bed-Stuy Hit And Run: Cops
Wayne Reed, from North Carolina, was hit near Bedford Avenue and Quincy Street, police said.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A North Carolina man was killed in Brooklyn on Friday in a hit-and-run, according to police.
Wayne Reed, 52, was crossing Bedford Avenue near Quincy Street around 10:20 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle driving north on Bedford, according to police.
Emergency responders found Reed unconscious with head trauma and took him to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The unknown vehicle did not stay at the scene of the crash, which is being investigated by the NYPD's Highway Collision Investigation Squad. Police had not yet released any photo or video of the vehicle.
Reed was from Fayetteville, North Carolina, records show.
