77-Year-Old Woman Killed In Brooklyn Crash: Cops
The woman was a passenger in a Honda that was hit by a BMW that ran a red light on Atlantic Avenue, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — A 77-year-old woman was killed and another woman injured in an early Tuesday morning crash near the Bed-Stuy border, according to police.
The woman, a passenger, and a 41-year-old driver were heading through a green light on Bradford Street at its intersection with Atlantic Avenue just after midnight when their car was hit by a BMW that ran a red light, police said.
The BMW had been heading west on Atlantic Avenue.

The 77-year-old and a 30-year-old passenger from the BMW were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where the 77-year-old woman was pronounced dead around 12:54 a.m., police said.
The driver of the BMW, 29-year-old Daimel Pippin, was arrested, police announced Tuesday afternoon. She is facing charges for aggravated unlicensed operator, operating an unregistered vehicle and driving without a license, police said.
