Bed-Stuy Bank Collecting Donations For Food Pantry

TD Bank in Bed-Stuy is collecting money for Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger, which provides meals for low-income community members.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — TD Bank's charity wing is collecting donations for the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger, a food pantry that provides meals to over 30,000 low-income community members in the Bed-Stuy, Brownsville and Ocean Hill area. The pantry also provides essential food and supplemental services to Bed-Stuy and surrounding neighborhoods in the event of an emergency.

"Every donation counts, and we hope to see a huge audience!" said a spokesperson for TD Bank.

TD Bank is accepting money and food donations to support the pantry, and the TD Charitable Foundation will also be making its own donation, it said. A van called the TD WOW Van Patrol will be presenting its donations to the pantry on Friday from 3 - 4 p.m. in front of the TD Bank Bed-Stuy location at 957 Marcy Ave.
