"It was a pointless fight, and now someone pointlessly lost their life," Tamecca Holloway, a neighbor, told the NY Daily News.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — The 29-year-old man fatally shot in a Bed-Stuy apartment on Tuesday had just gotten into a "pointless" group brawl, witnesses said. Maurice Lindsey was shot four times after his girlfriend got into a fight with two sisters and their brother, police said.
Lindsey and his girlfriend were leaving their apartment on the sixth floor of 1625 Fulton St. a little before 9 p.m. when the sisters and three men attacked them, witnesses told the New York Daily News.
"The guys were recording on their phones while (the girls) were dragging her, pulling her head by the hair," a witness told the Daily News. "She was screaming, telling them to get off of her. The guys were laughing, saying, 'Get her!'"
