Bed-Stuy Robbery: Cops Seek Suspect Who Allegedly Stole 62-Year-Old Man's Wallet
He stole $400 in cash and a credit card from a 62-year-old man, cops said.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Cops are looking for a man they say robbed a 62-year-old man of his wallet, which had $400 in cash and a credit card in it.
On Monday, Feb. 13 at around 3 p.m., the suspect came up from behind the victim and demanded his wallet, cops said. The incident occurred at Claver Place and Fulton Street, according to the NYPD.
Police describe the suspect as a hispanic man, around 35 years old, 5-foot-7-inches tall and around 200 pounds.

The NYPD has released surveillance photo and video of the suspect and is asking anyone with information in regards to this incident to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
