Bed-Stuy Strip Club's Liquor License Could Be Stripped: Report
Violent incidents, including a murder, outside Amour Cabaret prompted officials to call to remove the club's liquor license, a report said.
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A "bikini bar" in Bed-Stuy facing exposure from a string of violent incidents soon could have its liquor license stripped, according to a report.
Community Board 3 members called for the state's liquor authority to revoke Amour Cabaret's license to serve alcohol, News12 reported.
A fatal March 3 shooting outside the Nostrand Avenue strip club, which bills itself as a "bikini bar," prompted their call. But it's not first time violence outside the club drew unwanted attention.

In February, a man was stabbed outside the club. And News12 reported state liquor authority officials in January charged the club's license holder with becoming a police focal point.
The club likely will have to skimp on its often-advertised bottle specials if its license is suspended.
