Bed-Stuy's Weekend Subway Service Changes: June 26-27

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — As vaccinations hit millions of arms and the city slowly reopens, New Yorkers are getting back on the subway. In another sign of the return of normality, they're also dealing with a multitude of weekend service changes.

Riders are returning to the rails in record numbers, but getting around this weekend is still going to be tough with many lines disrupted in the name of "upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service."

Here's what changes neighbors in Bed-Stuy can expect in and around the neighborhood.

SB Local and limited free shuttle buses make stops between Jay St-MetroTech and Utica Av.

Traveling to or from the Rockaways?
Consider the J or L which connects with Far Rockaway A service at Broadway Junction.
