Bed-Stuy Man Found Shot Dead Friday Morning

A man was found dead on Kosciuszko Street between Tompkins and Throop Avenues early Friday morning, investigators said. 

Police received a 911 call shortly after midnight Friday of gunshots in the neighborhood. 

When they arrived, they found Renard Griffin, 26, of Willoughby Avenue, unresponsive at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead by emergency medical staff.

Police are treating the incident as a homicide.
