Big Movers on Baby Names List Buck Tradition

"Brantley," "Briella" show biggest change; "Jacob," "Sophia" take top spots

The Social Security Administration's list of most popular baby names from 2011 show that "Jacob" and "Sophia" are the new leaders.

But the hottest movers are the decidedly less traditional "Brantley" and "Briella" which didn't even rank in the top 1000 over the last 20 years.

So which do you prefer? Giving a child a historically popular name, or blazing a new identity for them with something unique and distinctive?
