Biological Mom May Have Stolen Brooklyn Toddlers From Foster Parents: Police

The kids were last seen on Saturday morning, police say.

Update: The sisters have been located, safe and sound.

Two young Brooklyn sisters in foster care went missing on Saturday during a five-hour visit with their biological mom, according to the NYPD.

Tiye Macon, 2, and Destiny McCoy, 3, were dropped off at the corner of Pennslyvania Avenue and Sutter Avenue in East New York near Bed-Stuy around 10 a.m. for the court-ordered visitation, police say.

But when their foster parents returned to the location to pick them up around 3 p.m., as planned, the kids’ mom reportedly never showed up.

“The biological mother did not return with the children at the scheduled time and their whereabouts remain unknown,” the NYPD said in a statement.

The kids have been living in Bergen Beach with their foster parents, per court orders, police say.

Tiye was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, a blue T-shirt and blue jeans, according to the NYPD. Destiny was last seen wearing a white jacket, a white T-shirt and black slacks.
