Debbie McClain, owner of Sankofa Aban B and B with Eric Lemons an accomplished string musician invite you to spend a magical evening of music taking you behind the scene of this undercover live jazz experience for everyone. You can get there early to meet the performers, and as you take a seat for a jazz fest of a lifetime, with the right ticket, as these two host present you with some of today's best Jazz artist.

During the 1930s, perhaps even earlier, one didn’t have to go to Manhattan for the Jazz scene, Brooklyn had one of it’s own.

Come see how authentic jazz was done when Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn had one of the largest Jazz community in town.

Brooklyn held many venues that housed jazz greats like Thelonius Monk, Lena Horne, Carmen McRae, Randy Weston, Miles Davis, Max Roach, Abbey Lincoln, Hank Mobley, Eubie Blake, Ray Abrams, Betty Carter and others. All that eventually changed, and jazz clubs fizzled out in favor of a different generation of music.
