Cops Boycott Dunkin’ Donuts After Worker Snubs Detectives: Report
"I don't serve cops," a clerk allegedly told two officers.
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, NY – Police officers are reportedly boycotting Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins stores after two officers were refused service at a Bed-Stuy store.
A clerk at the 1993 Atlantic Ave. coffee shop on July 30 ignored two detectives in line, then told them “I don’t serve cops,” according to the New York Post.
A manager at that Dunkin’ Donuts said the real reason the officers weren’t served was that they were standing at the wrong counter.

“Basically, Dunkin’ Donuts is saying that the two officers in the store were too stupid to know where to order – while every other customer came in and knew where to order,” Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins told the Post.
The Post reported that officers from Bed-Stuy’s 73rd Precinct and beyond are boycotting the chain.
“No D&D in the 7-3,” one cop was quoted as saying.
Dunkin’ Donuts said in a statement that the manager of the store where the incident took place contacted one of the officers who was snubbed to apologize.
The store owner is also going to meet with that officer, Dunkin’ Donuts said.
