Emergency Bed-Stuy Town Hall Meeting To Discuss Trump 'Muslim Ban'

On Thursday, a Bed-Stuy mosque will host a discussion on how to work through Trump's executive order.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Bed-Stuy Council Member Robert Cornegy, Jr. is holding an emergency Town Hall meeting Thursday night to counter President Donald Trump's immigration ban. The meeting will be hosted by Creating Law Enforcement Accountability and Responsibility at Masjid Abdul Muhsi Khalifah, a historic community mosque in Bed-Stuy.

Cornegy, Jr. has expressed disdain for Trump's executive order, specifically in the context of a Bed-Stuy doctor who is still trapped in Sudan and cannot return to his residency at the Interfaith Medical Center.
