"Feast Bed-Stuy" Comes to Tompkins Ave. on Tuesday

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — The New York City Dept. of Small Business Services and the local non-profit organization, Bridge Street Development Corporation, are hosting a food, beverage and fashion "crawl" spanning seven blocks along Tompkins Ave. between Halsey and Quincy Streets next Tuesday in Bed-Stuy.

Feast Bed-Stuy features food and drink specials with a wine tasting at Bed-Vyne Wine, and discounts at many local businesses.

The festivities kickoff Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6:00 p.m., with the following participating businesses and specials:

• The Bush Doctor Juice Bar: 307 Tompkins Ave. – Feast Special: $3.00 ginger beers
• Peaches Hothouse: 415 Tompkins Ave. – Feast Special: Happy Hour $5 beer and wine specials and10% off food Purchases (excluding alcohol) for dine in only.
• The Meat Market: 380 Tompkins Ave. –Feast Special: 10 percent off coupon for use in the entire store.
• Bed-Vyne Wine: 370 Tompkins Ave. (enter on Putnam Avenue): Free Wine tasting and 10 percent off wine and spirit purchases.
• Bed-Vyne Cocktails: 305 Halsey St. (near Throop Ave.) – Feast Special: Happy Hour Specials $6-$12
• Tumbleweed General Store: 363 Tompkins Ave. – Feast Special: 10 percent off purchases of $20 or more.
• Brooklyn Kettle: 420 Putnam Ave. (near Tompkins Avenue) – Feast Special: Free cake slice with a coffee purchase.
