Fitzgerald McBride, Brooklyn Graffiti Artist, Shot Dead

UPDATE, NOV. 12: Police have released video of the man suspected of killing McBride.
Fitzgerald McBride, 46, known to friends and fans as the Brooklyn graffiti artist “2 Mean,” was shot dead early Sunday morning by an unidentified shooter at an unidentified location.
McBride was discovered inside his Chevy around 5:20 a.m. with gunshot wounds to his arm and torso, according to the NYPD.
His car was parked outside Interfaith Medical Center on the border of Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights, police say.
Now, the NYPD is trying to figure out exactly where and how McBride was murdered.
The victim, who lived in Brownsville near Bed-Stuy, was mourned online as “legend” and a ”real one.”
According to the New York Daily News, McBride was charged in 2013 for tagging 68 locations throughout Brooklyn, after he was caught writing “2 Mean” at an L Train station in Brownsville.
“McBride has a rap sheet spanning two decades, with arrests that include drugs and weapons possession charges,” the Daily News reported at the time.
