- Bed-Stuy residents finally it’s here! Marcy Plaza, the new pedestrian square at the corner of Fulton and Marcy, is finished! So come on out at 9:00 a.m. and celebrate with the grand opening of Restoration Plaza’s Community Market, a farmers’ market, a long-standing partnership between Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, who provided the space for the new market, and Brooklyn Rescue Mission, who is sponsoring the market.Â
- Residents of all fitness levels, every Wednesday through October (weather permitting), at 6:00 p.m., Restoration is hosting weekly walks, runs, and rides around Central Brooklyn! Bed-Stuy Healthy Families on The Move (HFM) provides Brooklynites with a safe and fun outlet to exercise their way to a healthier body.Â
- Wunderkin is hosting a tea party fundraiser tonight, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and you should come out. Nestled in a vintage Brooklyn garden space, you can enjoy mini beauty services (Henna tattoos and manicures), shop local artisans' wares, become entranced by the voice of Raye 6 and toast to the wunderkinds of the world.
