Man Dies A Week After Getting Shot Answering His Door In BK: Cops
Jeroid Tindal had been in the hospital after he was shot by someone who knocked on his apartment door, according to police and reports.
BROOKLYN, NY — A man who was shot answering the door at his Brooklyn apartment earlier this month has died, according to police.
Jeroid Tindal, 47, had been in Woodhull Hospital since getting shot in the face and chest at his Independence Towers apartment in Williamsburg around 10 p.m. on March 8, police said. He died Sunday.
The shooter had knocked on Tindal's door and shot him when he answered it, police told the Daily News.

There were no arrests in the homicide as of Monday.
Tindal had at least 10 arrests on his record, including a 1989 killing with a golf club. He had been released in 2004 after serving eight years for the attempted murder conviction, according to the News.
