Man Found Fatally Stabbed Blocks From His Home In Bed-Stuy: Cops
Shameek Harrison was found stabbed in the chest on Vernon Avenue on Thursday, police said.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man was found fatally stabbed just a few blocks from his home on Thursday evening in Bed-Stuy, police said.
Shameek Harrison, 44, was found with a stab wound to his chest on Vernon Avenue between Lewis Avenue and Marcus Garvey Boulevard just after 7 p.m., police said. He was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Harrison lived only a few blocks from where he was found at the Sumner Houses, according to police.
