Man Shot and Killed on Ralph Ave Tuesday

Police are investigating a shooting on Ralph Avenue that left a 24-year-man dead.

The victim has been identified as Ravon Hamer of Bed-Stuy. 

Police said, on Tuesday, June 25, at around 4:40 p.m., 81st Pct police were called to 274 Ralph Avenue near Sumpter Street with reports of a person shot. Police arrived on the scene to find Hamer lying on the sidewalk with one gunshot wound to his chest.

The victim was taken to Interfaith Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
