Man Shot In Bed-Stuy Dies 2 Weeks Later: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man shot steps from his home in Bed-Stuy earlier this month has died from his injuries, according to police.

Cops found Daniel Biggs, 54, with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs and torso near Putnam and Patchen avenues around 8:25 p.m. on May 2, according to police. Biggs lived just a few steps away on Patchen Avenue near Madison Street, records show.

He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died nearly two weeks later on Wednesday, May 12, police said.

There have been no arrests in the shooting, which has been deemed a homicide, as of Thursday morning, according to police.
