BRIAN FORBES -FB Quote (December 30, 2012) ·Caught the great jazz singer Marion Cowings on Friday night at a cool venue called Brownstone Jazz in Bed-Stuy. A couple sets of amazing music, an impromptu vocal jazz clinic, and a down home Friday-Night Fish-Fry to boot. If you haven't heard him before, check him out at http://marioncowingBrian Forbess.com/ and definitely listen to the duo album he just released with the great Kenny Barron. — with Marion Cowings at Sankofa Aban.
