Mobile Coronavirus Testing Available At Bed-Stuy's Marcy Houses

The mobile testing van is available until Friday and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A coronavirus testing van will be at the Marcy Houses until Friday as the city expands testing following the Thanksgiving holiday.

The mobile test site, set up at the Marcy Houses driveway loop, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day this week until Friday, Dec. 4, according to a flyer from Council Member Robert Cornegy Jr.

#COVIDTESTING comes to Marcy Houses. Mobile vans start this morning until Friday Dec 4. Please get tested even if you don’t have symptoms. Knowing your status can help save lives!

The van is among several mobile test sites that are spread throughout the five boroughs this week.

The city's Health and Hospital network has also opened up coronavirus testing at 25 schools, including six in Brooklyn. The schools, which first opened last week, are also open until Friday as officials work to alleviate long lines surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Marcy Houses site can be found at 602 Park Ave.

The extra Brooklyn school sites include two in Bed-Stuy. They are found at Robeson High School for Computer and Business Technology in Crown Heights, South Shore Educational Campus in Canarsie, Sunset Park High School, New Utrecht High School and The Brooklyn High School for Law and Technology and Boys High School.

Each school site is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
