New Brooklyn Eatery Spudz Wants Bed-Stuy To Eat Fries For Dinner
A new Fulton Street fry shop wants diners to know it's okay to French fries for dinner ... and dessert.
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A new Bed-Stuy restaurants wants to help you have French fries for dinner.
Spudz staff have been serving up French fries, and only French fries, since the countertop eatery opened up at 1460 Fulton St. on July 25.
"We are providing art in the form of fries as we look to revamp the French Fry industry," co-owner Forrest Greene said in a press statement. "We are excited about the opportunity to bring such a new concept to the heart of Bed-Stuy."

Fries come in all flavors at the Fulton Avenue shop and prices range from about $6 to $14 per box.
Dessert fries come with a scoop of ice cream and powdered sugar, ‘El Frito Loco' fries are inspired by tacos, and sweet potato fries come topped with fried chicken and homemade syrup.

In the three weeks since it opened, Spudz has earned rave reviews from Gothamist, whose reporter diligently ate four boxes of fries for dinner, and Yelpers who said they liked the food and the vibe.
"Food is absolutely amazing," wrote Chisa C. "Smiles all around."
"Great place to grab a quick bite and/or meet up with friends," added Carmen S. "Omg Spudz playlist was dope!"
Spudz is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, according to its Instagram account.
