NYPD: Woman Found Dead in Bed-Stuy Apartment
Police found the woman at 1018 Bedford Ave. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 51-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment Tuesday night, according to police.
Police found the woman inside her apartment, located at 1018 Bedford Ave.
The woman’s boyfriend called 911 after discovering her unconscious, a law enforcement source told Patch.
EMS responded and pronounced her dead on the scene. The woman was also found to have bruises on her arm, police said.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and an investigation is ongoing. The woman's identity had not been released as of Wednesday evening.
