Pop-Up Vaccine Site Coming To Brooklyn Church This Week
The Emmanuel Baptist Church will give out vaccines on Wednesday, the governor announced.

BROOKLYN, NY — A Brooklyn church is among several pop-up sites that will be set up this week to help give New Yorkers the coronavirus vaccine.
The Emmanuel Baptist Church on St. James Place is among the most recent community-based facilities the state will open as part of its effort to bring vaccines to communities hardest-hit by the pandemic.
The state has set up more than 200 of the pop-up vaccine sites since January.

"New York State is working tirelessly to vaccinate all eligible New Yorkers for COVID-19, but hesitancy remains a serious issue, especially in communities of color, as well as ones which have been historically underserved. That's why we've established pop-up vaccination sites to bring the vaccine directly to those communities in every region of the state," Governor Cuomo said.
The Emmanuel Baptist Church will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
