BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A new Pepsi commercial brings the Notorious B.I.G.'s rhymes back to the streets of Brooklyn with an unreleased freestyle about the soda.

The 1997 freestyle plays over an animated video of Biggie's native borough to celebrate his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, set for Nov. 7, according to Variety.

“Nothing can beat the P-E-P-S-I drink it constantly / Something ’bout the taste feels great, less filling / Tell ’em Biggie said drink it all, don’t test me / Nothing else beats a Pepsi / If it is, let’s see/ I’m thirsty,” B.I.G. raps on the track.

The commercial came with the help of Biggie’s collaborators Cey Adams and DJ Enuff, who remastered the unreleased track.

Biggie first laid down the freestyle at D&D Studios with DJ Enuff.

The clip features references to Bed-Stuy's bodegas, barbershops, stoop jam sessions and a special shout-out to the rapper's block on St. James Place. The block was renamed in honor of Biggie last summer.

Biggie will be only the second solo hip-hop artist to ever be inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was nominated last year.

Other artists being inducted during this year’s virtual ceremony include Depeche Mode, the Doobie Brothers and T-Rex.
