Vigil Friday Evening for Dekalb Shooting Victim

The family of 24-year-old Nicoleia Taylor will host a candlelight vigil in her honor Friday night, family friends said on Twitter.

Taylor was killed earlier this week in a shooting at the Lafayette Gardens housing development. She was shot once in the chest and taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

The vigil will take place at 8 p.m. in front of Taylor's home at 470 DeKalb Ave. in Brooklyn. 

Police are still on the lookout for the suspect in the shooting, who they have identified as 21-year-old Corey Brown.
