After A False Start, The Bedford 'Summer Fun Series' Is A Go

Food trucks, live music, a comedy juggler, singalongs, Bedford Recreation and Parks has your summer all planned, so just relax.

BEDFORD, NY — After inclement weather forced the cancellation of opening night, the Bedford Parks Summer Fun Series will finally kick off on Thursday.

We will have to wait for another chance to see the Ned Gelfars Comedy Juggler show after thunderstorms stymied the performance at Bedford Hills Memorial Park on July 1, but the good news is that there is still plenty of free summer fun yet to take place on hot Thursday nights all through the season.

  • On Thursday, Trillium will perform at Katonah Memorial Park by the pool. The show starts at 7 p.m.
  • On July 15, The Mulligans will take the stage at Bedford Village Memorial Park. The show starts at 7 p.m.
  • July 22, Country Fresh will play at Katonah Memorial Park. The show gets started at 6:45 p.m.
  • On July 29, the Jon Bates Band will play Bedford Village Memorial Park. The performance begins at 6:45 p.m.
  • On July 16, August 20 and September 10, Food Truck Fridays will return to Bedford Village Memorial Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
